Joseph Lampman Obituary
JR was born to Henry and Flossie (Hoch) Lampman on July 13, 1938, in Warrensburg, MO. He married Ruth Manning in 1958 and raised three children. He retired from Lake City Ammunition Plant in 1998. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth Lampman; daughter Candy Hillson & Christopher Buck; son Robert Lampman; granddaughters Rebecca Trowbridge, Moriah Hillson & BreAnna Buck; four great-grandchildren; sisters Vietta Begemann, Mary & Marcus Noltensmeyer, Dora Alexander, Hattie Smith, Christine & John Detherage, Katherine Anders; brother Everett & Marilyn Lampman; and many nieces and nephews.
JR was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Cassandra Lampman; sisters Wanda Homfeld & Norma Burford; brothers Charles, Stanley, Earl & Forrest Lampman; and son-in-law William Hillson.
Services to be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at Grace Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Mo., with burial to follow. Visitation at 1 p.m. Full obituary royerfuneralhome.com
