Curtis Fuchs Obituary
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Peter Gueldner officiating. Visitation will be at church from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Curtis Evan, the son of Everett and Elda (Schmidt) Fuchs, was born July 3, 1954, in Faribault. He attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Faribault High School in 1972. Curt married LeAnn Evenson on October 15, 1977, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in New Richland. He worked at Crown Cork and Seal for 41 years. Curt was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault. He helped re-establish Faribo Drag Ons Car Club and enjoyed playing cards. Curt took pride in supporting his three boys, attending their sporting events and activities, always making sure they knew how proud he was of them. Once his boys graduated, he continued to support the Faribault Falcons by following along with current sporting events. Much of Curt's free time was spent on the golf course with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, LeAnn of Faribault; three sons, Barry (and Emily) Fuchs, Ross (and Megan) Fuchs and Cole Fuchs; 10 grandchildren, Elle, Jude, Vivian, Ava, Owen, Eli, Lila, Rhett, Esme and Emma; sister, Vickie (and Bill) Lass of Rapid City, SD; sisters-in-law, Karen (and Keith) Fuchs-Archambault of Faribault, Mary Routh of New Richland; niece; nephews; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Fuchs; parents-in-law, Winston and Lorraine Evenson; brother-in-law, Dean Routh
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faribault Lutheran School.
