Annalee Fishback Obituary

Annalee Virginia Fishback

November 17, 1926 - August 31, 2025

Annalee Virginia Fishback, 98, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on 31 August 2025.

She was born in Warrenton, Virginia, on November 17, 1926, and graduated second in her class from Calverton High School in 1944. Annalee worked for the Safeway Corporation off and on for many years as a cashier, while devoting herself above all to her family.

On September 16, 1946, shortly after Daniel Richard Fishback's return from the Pacific Theater of World War II, she married the love of her life. They shared more than 50 years of marriage together, building a loving home and raising four children.

Annalee is survived by her children, Daniel Richard Fishback, Jr., Gerald Thomas Fishback, Susie Virginia Cameron, and Faye Elaine Westfall. She was also the proud grandmother and great-grandmother to a growing family who adored her.

She will be remembered as the rock and backbone of her family-strong, smart, and devoted. Her faith in God guided her life, and she inspired those around her with her honesty, kindness, loyalty, and love of family.

There is going to be a private family service at Marshall Cemetery. Anyone wishing to make a donation in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

The family would like to thank all who have shared in Annalee's life and memories. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
