August 31, 1948 - September 5, 2025
Helen Jeffries Edwards, 77 of Warrenton, VA passed away on September 5, 2025 at her home.
She was born on August 31, 1948 to Ernest Milton Jeffries and Annie Frances Jenkins Jeffries in Prince William County, VA. After graduating from high school, she married Murray Randolph Edwards, Jr. on June 17, 1967 and this union produced three daughters. She entered the work force on and off as family obligations allowed in serving the people of Fauquier County as retail clerk for Sears; assistant manager and manager for Fun Company party store; and as dental assistant and insurance coordinator for the offices of Doctors William Walther and Robert Flikeid both in Warrenton. She and her husband were members of the Warrenton United Methodist Church from 1970 to 2004, transferring to Bethel United Methodist Church at that time.
She was predeceased by her parents and tragically by her three daughters- Amy Lynn, Rebecca Susan Simpson, and Angela Ruth Clore. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four grandchildren, Brett Anthony and Adelyn Quinn Clore of Locke, NY and Delaney Day and Ruth Avery Simpson of Warrenton, VA.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 4-6 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 10:00 AM at the Warrenton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to be sent to Bethel United Methodist Church or the American Pancreatic Cancer Society.
