Timothy Tewksbury Obituary
Died: October 9, 2025 in Sycamore, IL
Timothy Dean Tewksbury, age 76, a lifelong resident of Sycamore, passed away unexpectedly on October 9th at his beloved home of 48 years on Parkside Drive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette. Together they raised five children-their "Fab Five": Tim (Lori) Casey, Colleen (Donald) Butts, Sarah (John) Kristin, Julie (Erik) Jordal, and Dean (Randi) Tewksbury; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of friends he considered brothers, including Bruce and Barry Kerbal.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th at Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, IL, from 1:00–4:00 pm, with a service at 3:00 pm. Please wear Chicago Bears gear to the service. Green Bay fans should wear formal wear, Tim would want them as uncomfortable as possible.
The family will host a party honoring Tim following the service.
