I have spent a number of years trying to locate my Grandfather's relatives and such a sad event this week to find Catherine (Rapin) Bryant, Emile Rapin's niece, only to learn that she has passed away. Our condolences to the family. I am sorry I didn't have the opportunity to know her but in reading the other entries, I can see that she was a very caring and dedicated person. You will surely miss her.

Few people remember the hours Katie Bryant worked with Girl Scouts in the College Lakes Community. This was a rewarding task that has paid many dividends and shared her love of young people. Her son, will have a challenge to keep the memory of his father and mother alive. Their contributions to the College Lakes community is not easily written. They lived there, they loved it and worked to enrict the community. They walked with me many years in that endeavor.

They will both be missed and their memory is precious.

Ms. Bryant, it was an honor and privilege to assist. Thank you for letting me get to know you, for sharing your love of the Lord, family, friends, memories. Thank you for sharing your daily devotions and discussion, for daily weather updates, current events and tracking NC State games.Thank you for your patience while I searched for a copy of 'A Christmas Story' to watch before Christmas.
Your gentle and strong spirit reached across all boundaries and touched everyone. I will miss our morning visits. Many days I am sure I received more than you, even if we just watched 'Rachel Ray' and discussed her menu of the day and you shared your favorite recipes or we watched 'Millionaire' and tried to make the right choice before it was revealed.
Thank-you Ann and all the ladies at the office who gave me this priceless opportunity to spend this time in Ms Bryant's life. It has been a gift I will cherish.
