Jesse Lubbock Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Retired Army Staff Sgt. Jesse Leo Lubbock, 78, of 1453 Duncan St., Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War.He is survived by his wife, Ursula M. Lubbock of the home; a granddaughter, Jamie; a brother, Joe Lubbock of San Antonio; and a niece, JoAnn Brown of San Antonio.There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Lafayette Memorial Park, with Chaplain William A. McCoy officiating. Mr. Lovick will be laid to rest with the rendering of full military honors.Services entrusted to Rogers and Breece Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
