Jonathan Nobles Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Jonathan Alexander "Taco" Nobles, 15, of Ida Street in Fayetteville, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in his home. Jon was an avid soccer player with Stoney Point Parks and Recreation, having played for seven years. He was a freshman at Seventy-First High School and loved fishing and squirrel hunting with his cousin Wes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Heather Nickie Hemingway Nobles. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, J.D. and Debbie Hemingway of Fayetteville; special aunt and uncle, Jennifer and Michael Bussius of Fayetteville; paternal grandparents, Cindy Thompson Nichols and Danny Nichols of Fayetteville and Craig Nobles; father, Jonathan C. Nobles of Hope Mills; and great-grandmothers, Sue Lawhon of Loudon, Tenn., Ida Hemingway of Fayetteville and Faye Thompson of Fayetteville. Jon also is survived by his cousins, Wes, Leeann, Ava and Kierston; and sisters, Taylor and Gracie Nobles. The family is accepting visitors at the home of J.D. and Debbie Hemingway. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cape Fear Crematory of Fayetteville.
