Mollie Peek Obituary

SPRING LAKE - Mrs. Mollie Bradley McIver Peek was called home to glory on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, in Sentara Potomac Hospital-Hospice in Woodbridge, Va. Mrs. Peek was a devoted wife, beautician, homemaker, and served on the mother's board and home missionary at Williams Chapel FWB Church in Spring Lake. She is survived by a sister, Lola Peek Smith of Atlanta; daughters, Jacqueline Flood (Tony) of Bowie, Md., Jeanette Cobb (Cecil), Nellie Spann (Michael) and Tanya McIver of Woodbridge; and sons, Thomas McKeithan Sr. (Patricia) of Washington, D.C., and James McIver Jr. of Spring Lake; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a special friend, Deborah Onque of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James McIver Sr. and Elder John W. Peek; daughter, Linda Gardner; and son-in-law, Clarence Gardner Sr. The viewing will be at 9 a.m. and the service at 10 a.m. at Williams Chapel FWB Church in Spring Lake on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011. Services of comfort are entrusted Wiseman Mortuary of Fayetteville.
