Donna Duffy Obituary
Donna was born on Jan. 18, 1947, in Fernandina Beach, Fla., to the late Donald and Agnes Cassady Landress. Donna grew up in Fernandina Beach and graduated from Fernandina Beach High school class of 1965.
She started her career working for Prudential in Jacksonville, Fla., for several years before starting a new career at Container Corporation of America, where she retired from as payroll coordinator after 29 years of service. Her absolute favorite job and life was being a mother and a grandmother. She loved her family and friends. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Betty Rowland.
She leaves behind her sons, Donald "Lang" Duffy, his wife, Heather, and their son, Tanner, (Tripp) Thomas Eugene Duffy III, his wife, Cristina, and their children, Logan, Brady, Roman and Mavryk; former husband, Tom Duffy, and wife, Mary. She also leaves behind her sister, Jean Bailey, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors with Pastor Pat Ennis officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m.
She will be laid to rest at Bosque Bello Cemetery.
