Frederick Anderson Obituary

Frederick "Freddie" Anderson, 86, of Yulee, FL passed away October 3, 2025.
Mr. Anderson was born January 27, 1939, in Chester, FL and was a lifetime resident of Nassau County. He was a member of Blackrock Baptist Church.
He was veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his parents, Ira and Estelle Anderson and two brothers in law, Art Willyoung and Billy Boyett.
Survivors include his daughter, Andrea (Ron) Anderson Rushford, sisters, Lynette Willyoung, Ruth Brewer (Larry) and Sandra Boyett; grandchildren, Joel Rushford (John) and Samantha(Brandon) Rushford; great grandchildren, Trinity Rushford and Kamryn Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Anderson loved hanging out with his friends at What-a-Burger in Yulee and prior to that the Fernandina Beach Krystal. He enjoyed going to church, fishing, gardening and NASCAR. He was an avid runner and ran the Gate River Run at age of 65. He loved hot rod muscle cars and liked to go to cars shows. As a young man he raced motorcycles and received a number trophies.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, in the Chapel of Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Camarotti officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
