Karen Highsmith Obituary

Karen Moore Highsmith, 57, of Yulee, Fla., passed away Monday morning, Feb. 13, 2023.
 Her parents were Leroy Moore and Peggy Douberly Moore. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Moore; a sister, Leisa Douberly; and two brothers, George Moore and Benny Moore.
Karen loved her kids and grandkids very much. That was her life. Karen was a very loving and giving person who would do anything for you.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Highsmith (Hannah) of Callahan, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kayle Yarbrough (Todd) of Yulee, Fla.; four grandchildren, Bailey Parkinson, Emily Yarbrough, Peighton Yarbrough and Ace Daniel Highsmith; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John Moore (Lynette) and Stanley Moore (Roxanne), both of Nahunta, Ga.; a sister, Leisa Lynette Moore; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, Ga.
