Milo Pajevic Obituary

In loving memory, we celebrate the life of Milo Pajevic, a devoted father, grandfather, son, uncle, and cherished member of his community, who passed away in September 2025.
From his teenage years, Milo honed his craft as a sixth-generation shoemaker and leather artisan, carrying on a rich family legacy. He was the heart behind Milo's Shoe Repair, a small business he ran on the island for 35 years. To him, this wasn't just a job; it was a calling. He had a rare gift for not only designing beautiful creations from leather but for making a profound difference in people's lives.
He helped countless people comfortably walk again, restoring their hope when they had started to lose it. Milo had a way of making people feel truly seen, and his genuine desire to help was evident in every stitch and every conversation. As Maya Angelou so beautifully said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Milo's kindness, his compassion, and the feeling of comfort he gave to others will be his most enduring legacy.
Milo will be remembered for his uplifting spirit, his unwavering dedication to his family and craft, and his insatiable curiosity as a lifelong learner. He leaves behind a legacy of comfort, creativity, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Loving son of Milosav (deceased) and Floarea (Draghia). Cherished father of Alisia Pajevic (Rob Whiting), Desirae Pajevic (Sean Sandoval), and Breanna Pajevic. Loving grandfather of Mila Pajevic. Dear brother of Peter (Christine) Pajevic, Nada Kay (Steve), and Ljiljana Winter (Keith). Uncle of 7 and great-uncle of 21.
A celebration of Milo's life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mocama Coffee and Beer Company, 629 S 8th St, Fernandina Beach, FL. Come gather to honor Milo by visiting his family and friends, sharing fond memories and focusing on the joy and happiness he brought others.

A wonderful gentleman. He was my shoe repairer for many years. Every time I went in to pickup a pair of shoes we spent at least twenty minutes talking.
He was a master in his skill and occupation.
Sorry to hear of his passing.

Miss Flora & family,
I am so sorry to learn of Milo's passing. He was always so kind and eager to be of help in any situation! And I will remember him for his generosity and ability to always make me smile when he was near! Working side by side with Milo right next door was always a fun filled adventure he always had so many creative ways to handle construction ideas and just a very talkative spirit to want to make someone smile and see the positive around so many dark times. The highlight of his conversations was about his daughters and grandchildren.
It was beautiful to hear someone who cherished his family and just loved life to the fullest... May you enjoy your pain free life with Our Savior and one day we will celebrate our birthdays in heaven as we did here on earth.....
Miss seeing you coming across the yard with your boots and belts and just happy gait to my door typically looking for your phone.... Love ya Milo
