I remember your parents so well - they were responsible for so much good in Williamsport. I faithfully read their paper long after I'd grown up and moved on.

Theirs were lives well-lived.

Florence was such a good friend of my mom, Maxine Carlson Dimmich, for decades. She still has cards and notes that Florence wrote to her over the years. "Days With My Mom" was so wonderful to watch...a beautiful story. She had such an appreciation for life, family and friends. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. My mom is now in an assisted-living facility. She will be very sad to learn that her friend Florence is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
