Daniel Holt Obituary
Daniel "Dan" Steven Holt, 37, of Maumee passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Dan will be greatly missed at Kohls Market in Ottawa. He always had to pick on us when he delivered to us, but always with a smile on his face. It just won't be the same without him. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

It's tough to express feelings you can't describe. Our thoughts and prayers continue for Dan's family and friends. He truly was a great guy, even though we barely knew him. His two minutes of conversation and witty banter were always something to look forward to. Rip Dan!

What a loss! Dan was such a good soul ~ you could tell by the way he greeted you on the job and took pride in his work. My dog will miss barking loudly at him from the window and our family will miss watching you Dan try to quietly sneak that package up the walk without getting the dogs attention.

Prayers for his family and friends. Dan is a person that will be missed. Always talked to our dog and called her his friend and gave her treats. Would take a minute for friendly conversation and wish you a good day or weekend. People like that don't come along every day.
