Mildred Anna Lambert, affectionately known as Millie, 84, of Delta passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. She was born May 14, 1932, in Monclova, Ohio, to the late John and Inez (Shufelt) Suleski. She married Harold Lambert, her beloved husband of 64 years, on Nov. 30, 1952, and he survives.
Millie graduated from Monclova High School. She was a member of Delta American Legion Post #373 Ladies Auxiliary, and loved embroidery, sewing, and bird watching.
Millie is also survived by her daughters, Jane (Bill) Vaughan, Beverly (Michael) Tanner, Denise (Bill) Hilyard, and Alice (Jack) Simon; son, Steve Lambert; grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsay (Jack), Eric, Austin (Ashley), Ben (Jamie), Lisa (John), Michelle (Matt), Katy (Nick), Martha, Lydia (Rob), and John (Bethann); 11 great-grandchildren and one other on the way; her siblings, Fran Lee, Mary Russell, John (Jan) Suleski, Dave (Judy) Suleski, and Rose (Mike) Mininger; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Millie was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Weldon Lee and Kenny Russell, and sister-in-law, Shirley Suleski.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home in Delta, Burial will follow at Fulton Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delta Community Fire Department.
