Alayna Reyes Almanza, 4, was born on November 18, 2009 in Harlingen, TX. and passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, TX.
Alayna loved to sing and dance with her sister, enjoyed spending time at the park, and she loved Curious George and the Bubble Guppies.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Juan Reyes Jr., and great grandmother, Maria Saldana.
Alayna is survived by her loving family to cherish her wonderful Memory, parents, Marcos Alberto Almanza & Juanita Reyes Almanza; sister, Natalya Reyes Almanza; maternal grandmother, Magdalena Reyes; paternal grandparents, Alberto and Gumara Almanza; uncles & aunts, Cristina Almanza, Dalila Almanza, Cesar Almanza, Mary (Guillermo) Cavazos, Juan Carlos (Norma) Reyes, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held today, December 4, 2013 from 1 PM to 9 PM with a Talk to be held at 7 PM at Trinity Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2 PM at Trinity Funeral Chapel with interment to follow to Evergreen Cemetery in Lyford.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joseph Puente, Joel Martinez, Cesar Almanza and Shaun Adams.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, therapists, teachers and friends who helped "Laynie" in her life.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral home 1002 East Harrison Avenue, Harlingen, Texas 78550 (956) 364-2444.

Sr. y Sra. Almanza, No hay necesidad de conocerlos personalmente para darle mis mas sentidos pesames por la perdida tan inmensa que han tenido de su princesita Alayna Almanza y en realidad no hay palabras adecuadas que signifiquen mucho en su gran dolor. La foto de su qurida hijita me recuerda mucho a mi nietecita que tengo de 5 años.
