Gorske, Beatrice J. "Bea"

Beatrice J. "Bea" Gorske, 86, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

She was born on April 23, 1930, in Eden, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Florence (Soyk) Grahl. When her father developed polio, Bea quit school and was in charge of the family farm. On December 16, 1950, she married Lyle "Bob" Gorske at Tabor United Methodist Church in Eden. Bea was a bus driver for Nichols Bus Service and Johnson Bus and enjoyed delivering flowers for Woods. She was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.

Bea is survived by her husband, Lyle "Bob" Gorske; four daughters, Karen Gorske of San Angelo, Texas, Linda Malson, Debra (Wayne) Carling and Paula Walser all of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Cameron (Nicole) Carling, Brett (Shelby) Walser and David Walser (special friend, Colleen); a great-granddaughter, Adalynn Carling; a brother, Dale (Ann) Grahl of Eden; a sister, Beverly (Elsmer) Zimdahl of Eden, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Grahl.

VISITATION: Bea's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac.

SERVICE: Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Zuberbier officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.

The family wishes to share their gratitude to the staff of St. Francis Home and Hospice Home of Hope for the care and compassion shown to Bea and her family. They would also like to acknowledge the continued love and support from the neighbors of Bob and Bea.
