Chad Gross Obituary
Chad Steven Gross, age 25, of Elkhart Lake, went home into the arms of his loving Father on August 13, 2013.
He was born on October 25, 1987 in Chilton, WI, the son of Steve and Lisa Ausloos Gross.
He graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 2006 and from Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland in 2010 with an Associate Degree in Marketing.
He was employed at Sargento Cheese and Masters Gallery both in Plymouth and for the last 3 months at Rockline Industries in Sheboygan.
He loved the outdoors and was involved in Boy Scouts for several years. Among his many accomplishments, he was awarded the Arrow of Light.
Chad longed for a simple life, engaging in nature and fishing while playing his guitar and reading books. Material things did not matter to him, his wish was only to make people laugh, which happened to be one of his many talents.
Chad loved to perform stand-up comedy at various locations in Wisconsin and was a regular at The Comedy Café in Milwaukee. Many times he was accompanied by his good friend and talented musician Dustin Gabrielse.
We will forever remember him by his contagious grin.
Survivors include his parents: Steve and Lisa Gross of Elkhart Lake; Three sisters: Erin Gross (Special friend: Owen Schultz) of Elkhart Lake, Emma Gross of Elkhart Lake and Cora Gross of Elkhart Lake; One Niece: Peyton of Elkhart Lake; Grandparents: Allen and Connie Gross of Glenbeulah and Norma (late Leonard) Ausloos of St. Cloud; Aunts and uncles: Judy Rogind of Keego Harbor, MI, Jeff Ausloos of Chilton, Sue (Ken) Stroede of Beaver Dam, Nancy Ausloos (Husband: Steve Blaha) of Oshkosh, Gary (Marge) Ausloos of Plymouth, Mary Jane (Kim) Knepfel of Oshkosh, Patrick Ausloos of Sheboygan, Peter (Jen) Ausloos of Mequon, Paul (Jamie) Ausloos of Elkhart Lake, Kathy Porter (Special friend: R.J. Morse) of Elkhart Lake, Jerry Gross (Special friend: Jennifer Clark) of Houston, TX, Mary Gross (Special friend: Scott Koegler) of Watertown, WI and Bob (Elly) Gross of West Allis, WI.
Also survived by many, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Leonard Ausloos and his dear friend: Zac Hoogstra.
Memorial Mass will be held on Monday morning (August 19) at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas North Cemetery in the Town of Rhine.
Family and friends may call at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Sunday (August 18) from 3-8 P.M. and on Monday at CHURCH from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in chad's name.

Dear Gross Family,
Today was a beautiful farewell/welcome celebration. Of course a good-bye to Chad physically, and his entering the greatest kingdom! I feel sad to not been able to know Chad.
