Dan Berry Obituary
Ripon - Dan W. Berry, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, after battling cancer, at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
Dan was born February 27, 1947, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Archie and Laura (Sauer) Berry. He served our country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968. Dan worked as a real estate appraiser and owned Berry Appraisal Service. He enjoyed traveling, kayaking and spending time with family and friends. Dan was a member of Appraisal Institute, Wisconsin Board of Realtors, Green Lake Willis-Chapel Legion Post #306 and Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristie (Michael) Saad of Naperville, IL; son, Eric Berry of Oshkosh, WI; two grandsons, Ryan and Tyler Saad both of Naperville, IL; former wife, Kay Berry of Fond du Lac, WI; brother, Harold (Betty) Berry of Green Bay, WI, niece, Barbara (Dan) Anderson of Green Bay, WI and one great-niece and great-nephew. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his close friends, Mabel Lehman of Ripon, WI, Jean Mockus of Green Lake, WI, Alice Perez of Ripon, WI and Kim Grasee of Ripon, WI. Dan is also survived by many relatives of his former wife's family. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Laura Berry.
Visitation for Dan will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 12 - 1:30 pm at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St., Green Lake, WI 54941.
Memorial Service for Dan will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, at 1:30 pm at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Rodney E. Dietsche officiating. Final Salute with Military Honors will follow. Inurnment will take place at Ledge View Memorial Park & Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum in the Town of Empire at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 224, Green Lake, WI 54941 or Green Lake Willis-Chapel Legion Post #306, P.O. Box 448, Green Lake, WI 54941.

The picture in this obituary reminds me of the smiling face that could always be counted on when visiting with Dan. It's been a while since we were together, but I can't forget Dan's wonderful personality.
