Diane Roeder Obituary
She was born on July 12, 1938, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Alfred G. and Marie C. Stephany Lettau.
On Oct. 11, 1958, she married James A. Roeder.
Diane worked as an administrative assistant and retired in 2012, from her most recent position at the Fond du Lac YMCA.
Diane was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; three children: Jeffrey (Anne) Roeder of Menasha, Steven (Diane) Roeder of Milwaukee, and Kristine (Walter) Lauersdorf of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren: Allee, Cory, Brody, Lexie, Nastia, and Sasha; two brothers: Steven (Doreen) Lettau of Cedarburg and John (Barb) Lettau of Fond du Lac; and a sister, Luane (Dan) Braun of Hartland; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, with the Rev. Matthew Guse officiating.
Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

I came to know Diane when we bowled on the same league - for quite a few years. This lead to a wonderful friendship. I have not had the opportunity to see her in a very long time with moving away from Fond du Lac, but I have so many good memories of her that will remain with me forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you (all of her family members) as you gather to celebrate her life. May she be lifted up on angel's wings...

Diane was like a grandmother to me. I have enjoyed and will always remember the times that she welcomed me into her family & all of the gatherings I had an opportunity to be a part of. Corey & I have Diane and her family in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Diane and Jim's family. The Gerlach/Sedlacek Family
