My Mother, Arleen, & Ethel were best friends from high school on. Like many others on here, I spent parts of several summers on the farm, enjoying it tremendously. I was an only child, so really enjoyed being around the boys. Paul & I were about the same age. After my mother passed away in 1987, Ethel started to call me. We would call each other 2-3 times a year. She enjoyed reminiscing about high school days & their single years. I loved hearing the stories. She was a wonderful link to my own Mom. I will miss her a lot!!!

As a child I always looked forward to spending time at the farm with Aunt Ethel and Uncle Art. I loved the animals and have fond memories of them naming the new calves after all of us cousins. I was always thrilled to help collect the eggs and pour milk for all the kittens and cats.

I admired Ethel's attitude towards life of always looking at the positive side and being so caring to all those who knew her. She was truly a great inspiration and I will miss her greatly.

Always the Lady. Ethel, Art and the boys were like family. Our families always enjoyed time together, Especially sledding in the winter and swimming in the lake in the summer heat. No matter how much chaos,(the boys, all six of us) Ethel was always smiling and calm. She will be missed, but her memories live on. God Bless you Ethel and your family.

My family spent a lot of time at the farm my mother and Ethel were fast friends and spoke and wrote often through the years. As a young child I spent weeks at the farm with Ethel and Art. She taught me many canning and other domestic arts as well as gardening, etc. I loved Ethel and always will. Glad to see others felt the same. Janine Paczelt nee Neeman
