I'm so lucky to have had Jay in my life. He always made me laugh and was there when I needed someone. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know I'll see his smiling face again. No doubt he is an angel watching over us.

Jay was "one of a kind". I was lucky to have known him so well and I will miss him everyday of my life. He was always there when I needed a smile, a laugh, or just someone to listen to me. My condolences go out to all his family they are all such wonderful people. He was very blessed with a great family.

My deepest sympathy to the Ewert family. Jay could light up a room with his smile and if you had a frown on your face it wasn't there long when he was around. He touched so many and will be missed by all.

To the Ewert family- I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how intensely he loved his family and how that it was the thing that mattered most to him. Beneath his tough outter shell and goofy anticks was a gentle and sensitive spirit and heart of gold. He was an amazing friend and was there for others during difficult times. He was a rare kind of man who could make anyone smile even when they had every reason not to. I know he will be dearly missed by many.

To the Ewert family, some years ago we went to a funeral for a young boy I coached in youth football, The words on his interment card have always given me strength in tough times.Hopefully they will do the same for you,"God never meant for us to face the tough times alone... That's why He gave us each other". During this tough time lien on each other for support. May our prayers and God's Blessing be with you.
