Junabelle Zweigler Obituary

Zweigler, Junabelle M.

Junabelle M. Zweigler, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at Lake View Place, Fond du Lac.

She was born on June 6, 1924, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Arden and Bernice Whalley Nelson. Junabelle was a proud member of Fond du Lac Senior High School, Class of 1942 and she enjoyed attending most of her class reunions, including her 70th class reunion.

On July 9, 1943, she married Armin W. Zweigler in Alburquerque, New Mexico. They enjoyed 57 years together.

Junabelle enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening, she had a natural green thumb. She was a member of the UTU Lodge. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter.

She is survived by two children, James (Lisa) Zweigler of Broadway, Virginia; and Sandra Zweigler; three grandchildren, Holly (Michael) Behler of North Port, Florida; Chris Zweigler of Nokomis, Florida; and Brandon Zweigler of Broadway, Virginia; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Wade, and Brooke Behler , and Preston and Jaxsen Zweigler. Junabelle had a special relationship with her five nieces and nephews, Linda Bonnell (fiancé, Dick Miller) of Fond du Lac; Sharon (James) Smith of North Fond du Lac; Jim (Ann) Nelson of Fond du Lac; Nancy (Dan) Guell of North Fond du Lac; and Cecile Metttelmann of Brookfield; and a sister-in-law, Eunice Audette of Brookfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Armin on January 31, 2001; a brother, Arnold (Kathleen) Nelson.

At Junabelle's request, private family memorial services will be held at Ledgeview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Hope or the Salvation Army.
