Played basketball with Kevin at the Y for a number of years. Not your typical basketball body type, but he enjoyed playing and everyone enjoyed playing alongside him. Probably had the highest shooting percentage from 10' to 12' from the basket than anyone in Y history. Eventually lost him to those racquetball guys, but he'd still make a guest appearance in the gym from time to time.
From the hard court, we evolved into a working relationship as we used each others services on commercial rooftops. Always was great to work with.
I called Kevin on May 10th for a price quote on a job I was bidding. He didn't answer, so I contacted Randy and he gave me what I needed. Kevin returned the call later that afternoon, but I was with someone and couldn't take it. Never called him back. Big mistake.
If there was ever a person that you just felt good around, it was Kevin. Always happy, always positive. I will miss him.

Kevin was a tremendous asset to our community. As a small business man myself, I had great respect for the effort and passion he put into the business he built. It's a rare person who can build his dream from the ground up and I had great admiration for Kevin.
Kevin loved to talk Badger Football and in me he always had a willing listener.
Kevin and his staff did a lot of work for us and became familiar faces and friends to our business. Our entire team is saddened and we wish the family God's comfort and peace at this very difficult time.
