Lloyd Huebschmann Obituary

Huebschmann, Lloyd A.

Lloyd Albert Huebsch- mann, 81, of Malone, Wis., passed away on July 25, 2011, after a lengthy bout with cancer, and is now standing before the throne of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The second of three siblings, Lloyd was born in the town of Brothertown, Wis., to Edward and Edna (Lindner) Huebschmann on Nov. 19, 1929.

He married Joyce Whitby on Aug. 29, 1953.

Blessed with a boundless curiosity, and an inveterate tinker even as a child, he soon became a "jack of all trades" and a master of most. There were few things mechanical that he could not repair, and untold numbers benefited from his abilities and service.

Also a student of the Bible, Lloyd's true passion involved introducing others to Jesus Christ, and then strengthening their faith. He led numerous Bible studies in his home and participated in many others. Lloyd and family were affiliated with New Tribes Mission for 14 years, including two years as missionaries to South America.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Anne (Ron) Barnhill Lashuay of Malone, Wis., Lynn Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Andy (Sanna) of Chilton, Wis. and Michael (Meredith) of Boise, Idaho; six grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and brother, Merlin (Karen) of Spooner, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lamina Peth; granddaughter, Jamie Huebsch- mann; and son-in-law, Gary Barnhill.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice Care, Dr. Pleviak, and Matthews Oncology for the care and comfort provided to Lloyd during his illness.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joyce and family,
My sincere sympathy on the loss of Lloyd. I will remeber him fondly as a man with a quiet but strong presence. I could feel his love soon after he joined our office and I miss him. How I loved his kind eyes and his gentle ways.
Fondly,
Ann Weeden,RN
