Marlend Bearwald Obituary
Fond du Lac - Marlend D. Bearwald, 63, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on February 19, 1958, in Van Dyne, the son of Herbert and Hilda Albrecht Bearwald. He was a graduate of Laconia High School, Class of 1976. On August 26, 2001, he married Linda M. Coffey at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.
While in school, he was drawn into the IT presentation, which led to his interest of computers. Marlend's love for computers and technology led him to open his own business, F1 Systems and Consulting, in 1986. He was a handy man who enjoyed carpentry projects and anything to do with construction.
He is survived by his wife Linda Bearwald, of Fond du Lac, his daughter Amy Bearwald of Fond du Lac, four wonderful grandchildren: Briana and Brittany Natzke, Bryce Riemersa and Zoei Bearwald; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Alan (Jill) Hewitt of Eau Claire, Christine (Gerald) Martinson of Augusta, WI, Patricia Coffey of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Leonard Coffey of Austin, TX, John (Julie) Coffey of Fond du Lac and Robert Coffey of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Arlend Bearwald and his brother-in-law Richard Hewitt.
VISITATION: Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
SERVICE: Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, with Chaplain Karen Kraus officiating. Private family Entombment to take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
