Michael Gibbons Obituary
Michael Kevin James Gibbons - Born December 26, 1948 and Risen September 17, 2020.
Son to the late Thomas and Genevieve Gibbons; Husband of Lynn Marie Gibbons; Father of Matthew Michael Gibbons; Loving brother of Patricia Worley, Thomas Gibbons & Peg Nawrocki.
Michael was a long time resident of Fon Du Lac. He worked over 25 years for FDL COUNTY social services. His entire career was spent helping people with their demons and addictions. His dedication to his work will live on in the many people he counseled. He will be missed by the many people whose life he touched. Rest in peace Michael.

Mike is the man who saved my life. I don't say that lightly. He taught me how to live life clean and sober and I quite literally would not be here today if Mike hadn't come into my life. Eternally grateful to this man, and I truly hope he is remembered for all the great things he has done to help others.

I am eternally grateful to Mike for being the person who got me through my addiction and into recovery. I would not be here today if it weren't for his compassion and belief in me, ne never let me believe, not even for a moment that I was not worth saving. Thanks to him, I'm coming up on my 14th year of sobriety and have a beautiful family to show for it. I consider Mike to be one of the most influential people in my life, and I pray that he is peaceful in his afterlife.

I worked with Mike but in a different program and will never forget the time I was helping a family make arrangements after the death of their child. Their son was hungry so we stopped at Culver’s. Mike just happened to be there and when he heard what happened he reached into his pocket and paid for the family’s meal. I will always remember his generosity. He didn’t hesitate. So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. We were co-workers for many years. I will always remember his infectious laugh and willingness to go the extra mile . Condolences to his family.
