Richard LaPine Obituary
Fond du Lac - Richard H. LaPine Sr., 77, of Fond du Lac, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born on October 20, 1940, in Fond du Lac, the son of Leonard and Helen Ritchie LaPine . On October 26, 1973, he married Judith A. Chapin.
Richard worked as a plastic molder at Wells Manufacturing in Fond du Lac before retirement.
He was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 270 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage, sheepshead, and going to sporting events with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Judith "Judy" LaPine of Fond du Lac, his children: Tammy Freund of North Fond du Lac, Alan (Michelle) LaPine of Fond du Lac, Dawn Klapa of Fond du Lac, Richard LaPine Jr. of Fond du Lac, Tracy (Jeff) Warner of North Fond du Lac, James (Jennifer) Jaeger of Fond du Lac, Marvin Miller of Fond du Lac and Kevin (Nikki) Moreau of Fond du Lac; 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two step brothers: Jerry (Mary Ann) LaPine of Oakfield and David (Mary) LaPine of Fond du Lac and two sisters: Linda and Diane.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Jim, John and Tom LaPine; a grandson, Christopher, and a great grandson, Odin.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to Dr. JoAnne Pasick and 4 South Staff at St. Agnes Hospital for all the great care given to Dick and his family.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, from 10:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.
FUNERAL: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Bill Beaton officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Sorry to hear this. Richard was always willing to chat, or lend a tool, or lawnmower when mine was on the fritz. My dog was always excited to see him coming across the street.
