Stephen Alan Fogle

Centerville - Stephen Alan Fogle, 47, of Centerville passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Steve was born on March 13, 1971 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Steve moved with his parents to Centerville in 1986. Steve received his education from Centerville High School graduating in 1989 and completed the Building and Trades Program at Indian Hills Community College. Upon completion he started his own construction business and, on the side finished his degree in Elementary Education from Buena Vista University.

Steve was united in marriage to Leona Seals on August 14, 1997. Steve and Leona were blessed with three wonderful children, Mallory, Mackenzey, and Logan. Steve and Leona were a successful team who grew a successful construction company until the point that they decided to purchase the local True Value. Steve was a loving and devoted family man. His world revolved around his wife and children, family and friends. Steve was also a huge supporter of all things in the community of Centerville. He loved to ride his Harley with Leona, spend time with friends, camping, visiting family and watching Green Bay Packer football with his dad.

Survivors include his wife Leona and their children; Mallory, Mackenzey and Logan, father, Alan Fogle, sister, Michelle Moore (Mike) and their children; Peyton, Cade & Kyla, father-in-law, Pearl Seals, sister-in-law, Loretta Seals (Josh) and their children, Holden, Tucker and Grayson, two uncles; Ernest Fogle, Leroy Stephens (Susie), three aunts; Dorothy Anderson, Beverly Iloncaie (Alex), Peggy Ray (Doug), and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barb Fogle, grandparents: Robert & Lorraine Thill, Ernest & Florence Fogle, mother-in-law, Patsy Seals, four aunts: Marilyn Fogle, Florence Lichtenwald, Geraldine Fogle, Debbie Mathews and two uncles, Gordon Anderson, Lloyd Lichtenwald.

Funeral service was 4:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Centerville High School - Simon Estes Auditorium in Centerville. Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation was from 2-6 pm, Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Centerville High School - Simon Estes Auditorium. Memorials may be made to Steve Fogle Memorial which will be designated at a later date and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
