How ironic that I was thinking about Steve after about a year and I came across your thank you card with Steve´s funeral card a couple days ago. Then I got the Legacy reminder. Steve will always be missed and I share your sympathy.

I had the pleasure to have known and flown with Steve as his First Officer many times for Britt which became Continental Express from October 1988-October 1989. We both flew for Continental as well and passed each other in the crew room many times. Steve was a terrific pilot and was an absolute pleasure to fly with. I will never forget the sadness we both had when I saw him in the crew room. That was when he told me he had a brain tumor and would not be flying anymore. I always thought about him over the years as I saw his name monthly on the schedule list as LTD. Prayers and condolences to his family and friends for the loss of a great person. He will be missed and always remembered.

Steve was one of my best friends in High School. We shared a lot of great times together. He was my ride every day to school in his 62 (I think) Chevrolet Bel Aire. Beach Boys, Neil Diamond music always playing on the tape deck. We had a lot of laughs, a little Boones Farm, and plenty of adventures together. We sort of lost track of each other after High School. Steve went on to college and chased after his passion to fly and found success in the sky while I went in a decidedly different direction. Great memories old friend. My condolences to his family. He was a good man.

I did not know Steve but want to express my sympathy to you Cynthia as he and I shared something in common....airplanes!
I am now retired here in Oshkosh after 38 years working for Allegheny, Eastern and Great Lakes Airlines. When I read Steve's obituary it rang a bell, as I too still look up to the sky constantly, and feel like I am trapped here on the ground. I love to fly, even if its "just to fly".
My sympathy to you Cynthia and to all of Steves family.
