Nancy Bakke Obituary

Nancy Bakke, formerly of Fergus Falls, MN and Superior, WI, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024, under the care of Woodbury Health Care Center Hospice.

Nancy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a kind, loving and giving person who loved being a caregiver. She fostered several children with her husband Bruce in her Fergus Falls home and worked in the nurse's office at Fergus Falls High School. She loved to cook, bake and most of all spend time with her family. Anyone who knew Nancy, also knew that one of her favorite pastimes was going to the casino. Nancy and Bruce enjoyed many years of relaxing at Elks Point Campground in Fergus Falls, MN and Pathfinder Village in Hinckley, MN.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Sr.; her son, Bruce; her parents, Walter and Peggy Robbins and her sisters, Bonnie and Joanne.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Lori (Andre) Christianson and daughter-in-law Lisa Bakke; 5 grandchildren, Michelle (Billy) Christianson-Parrott, Jared (Kris) Bakke, Kari (Garrett) Green, Taylor (Nolan) Jordan and Kaity (Cody) Bakke-Pruitt; and 10 great-grandchildren; Jessa, Jace, Isaiah, Bella, Mila, Everly, Walker, Georgia, Valli and Isla.

Deceaseds Funeral Arrangements: A Celebration of Life will be held in a private room at Holman's Table (644 Bayfield Street, Saint Paul, MN 55107) on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm. Lunch and dessert will be served.
