Orletta Irene Lenarz, 87, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Cornerstone Nursing Care in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Orletta Irene was born on September 18, 1936, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Elmer and Irene (Wagner) Curnow. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church. Orletta graduated from high school in 1954 from Eau Claire, and went to business school for 1 year. On July 16, 1955, she married Don Eisenhuth. They lived in the Cities until moving to Fergus Falls to raise their 6 children. Orletta worked in many areas: Matron for the Sheriff's Department, teacher's aide, many years in the health field, nursing home, home health and group homes. She enjoyed the years raising children and the many things they were involved in like going to horse shows with them. She was a member of the VFW in Alexandria for many years.
She kept busy with church work, teaching classes and women's jobs. She loved to cook and bake and having friends over. In later years 1986 she married Ervin Lenarz, moving from city life to farm wife. They traveled a lot, to many places and saw a lot of states. She enjoyed many years spending time and doing things with all her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Irene Curnow; Spouse, Ervin Lenarz and sons, Jeffrey Eisenhuth and Daniel Eisenhuth.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Paul) Nielsen of Bastrop, Texas, Peter (Jennifer) Eisenhuth of Mendota Heights, MN, Glen (Carol) Eisenhuth of Phoenix, AZ and Jennifer Eisenhuth of Fergus Falls, MN; grandchildren, Claudia, Gabriel and Sebastian Eisenhuth, Olivia and Estella Herzberg, Annie Huang and Anthony (Avery)Huang.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Clergy: Pastor Steve Baxter
Interment: First Lutheran South Cemetery, Fergus Falls, MN
