Cody Houston Obituary
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents Brad and Donna Kendrick-Houston of Centralia; his biological mother Donna Greene-Houston of Jonesboro, AR; three brothers Zack Houston of Springfield, MO, Derek Graupman and his wife Julienne of Chillicothe, MO, Shane Graupman and his wife Tara of Jefferson City; paternal grandparents Marvin and Bonnie Houston; four uncles Mike Houston and his wife Lisa of Holliday, Dane Kendrick and his wife Jill of Paris, David Kendrick and his wife Joni of Mexico and Dennis Kendrick and his wife Susan of Paris,; three aunts Lynn Allen and her husband Denny of Paris, Lori Gesling and her husband Jim of Centralia and Joy Houston of Moberly; six nieces and nephews Jeremy "JJ", Emile, Kaelyn, Natalie, Alleigh and Abigail; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
Cody first worked at Hy-Vee in Columbia for eleven years. Later he worked at Spartan in Mexico. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, music, especially his guitars and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barnes-Jewish Children's Hospital, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240. Donna and Brad,
I am so very sorry to hear that your Cody has left this earthly life. Please accept my deepest condolences. It is not easy loosing a child no matter what age they are. My son was 24 when he left this earth and now I'm raising his daughter.
May God shed His light on you and Comfort you with His love. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Please take care of yourselves and each other through the depths of your loss.
