George Westbrook Obituary
November 12, 1930 ~ August 23, 2011
George F. Westbrook, 80 of Vancouver, WA passed away on Tuesday morning, Aug. 23, 2011. He was born in Cheyenne, WY on Nov. 12, 1930. A Vancouver resident for the last 12 years, George was formerly from Anaheim, CA.
He served in the United States Air Force and was a proud veteran of the Korean War.
George received his B.A. degree in psychology from the California State University at Long Beach, California. He became a professional writer in science and industry for several major corporations until he retired. George enjoyed reading and writing. He had a great sense of humor, was a kind, gentle man and will be missed by all who knew him.
George was a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy, his son, Daniel, daughter, Danita, daughter-in-law, Asuka, son-in-law, Robert and five grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Kelsy, Heather and Brett.
Loved in life. Missed in death.
