Barry Santerre Obituary
Barry leaves his wife of 44 years, Joyce (Saari), sons Nathan and Troy (Laura), grandchildren Cameron, Parker, and Laol Short, sister Diane Brown (Matt) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers: L. James Santerre (Anne), Richard J. Santerre (Jane) and nephew Barry "B.J." Santerre.
A special Thank You goes to the Baystate Franklin Medical Center's Spoke 5 Team.
There will be a graveside service at the Center Cemetery in Bernardston, MA at 11 A.M. 9/8/22 followed by a gathering at the Northfield Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barry's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Kidder Funeral Home, 1 Parker Avenue, Northfield, MA is in charge of arrangements.

I was a Gleicher customer who had the fortune of speaking with Barry on several occasions. He was incredibly patient as he walked me through his vast knowledge of adhesives and processes. In the end he pointed me in the right direction, and I will forever be grateful for his kindness, patience, and expertise.

So difficult to believe Barry is gone, not a day goes by that I see or hear something that reminds me of our friendship.
I will always be thankful that I saw Barry at the camp that one last time. If I had only known.......

Barry and I spent countless hours between 1995 and 2000 driving in the Northeast making sales calls to different accounts. It´s shocking to learn he passed away in August 2022. Thank you Barry for all the good memories. May you rest in peace. Eduardo

Barry was passionate, enthusiastic and just plain fun to know. Barry was so proud of his wife, boys and grandkids, he told everyone about them. I first met Barry at an ITD sales rep training class about 40 years ago. He became the go-to expert for any product line he was involved with. I learned from him as a member of the sandblast stencil team. We attend shows and even got to go to Wonewok with our wives. Barry's last note to me on August 8th, made me cry. What a great guy he was and how fortunate I was to count Barry as a friend. Marlene and I are so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Barry Santerre.

Dear Joyce. I am so sorry to hear about Barry's passing. Al and I were so very lucky to meet you both. From the second we met Barry it was love at first sight!!! He helped make our summers in Bernardston wonderful . Hope Barry and Al are gabbing about fishing together.

I am so very sad, Joyce and family. Barry was absolutely the best neighbor on the planet. When the Forest Lake cabin next to me was for sale, there were a few people who looked at it that I wasn't very excited about them buying it. Within the first minute of talking with him, I wanted him to be my neighbor. You bought it! Funny, loving, interesting and kind he was. I will miss him very much.

Barry I am so grateful beyond words that our paths crossed 28 years ago working together at 3M, and reunited again at Gleicher.
