Darryl Boddie Obituary
Born in Worcester, he attended Chandler Magnet School, and was a student at Fitchburg High School. He lived in Worcester before moving to Fitchburg three years ago.
Daryl was a dietary aide at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Fitchburg for a little over a year.
He enjoyed the great outdoors, extreme sports, Snowboarding and dirt biking. He was a junior black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Daryl is survived by his parents, Theodore and Kathleen (Belair) Boddie with whom he lived; a brother, Nathaniel Boddie, and a sister, Cassandra Boddie, both of Fitchburg; a stepbrother, Theodore Boddie IV of Boston; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Belair-St Onge of Lunenburg and maternal step-grandfather, Lee St. Onge of Florida; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn (Fairley) Boddie; a close cousin, Eric Belair; and many aunts, uncles, and other cousins.
BODDIE -- On April 22, Daryl P. Boddie, 16, of Fitchburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 27, from 5 to 8 pm. in the funeral home.

dear: kathy and family i already wrote once but i wanted to let you know how hard this hit me i may not have been so close to daryl but just knowing him and talkin to him almost every friday at the movies hurts to fell that he is not going to be there when u go to find him at such a young age once i found out i could not believe my ears and i told my dear friend amanda to tell me she was joking but guess what she wasnt i did not hit me till that following day that i found out i was crying for days i am truly sorry for your loss i know daryl was a well know boy and was very nice to every one i was blessed to meet yor son i am so sorry

i can't begin to exspress how much pain and heartache all of us are going through. we miss you so much and it's hard to beleive that you have been taken away from us so soon. A lot of us cherrish our memories that we had with you and will always remember you in our hearts.I personally didn't know you very well but i now wish i did because now i don't have a chance. Even though I didnt know Daryl much hes still going to be missed. Everytime I would walk down the hallway I would always see him smiling. I wish I was in school more to get to know him better but I wasnt. I pray for your family and Im sorry.

We are so sorry for your loss! We love'd Daryl alot everybody did! We remember the first time we meet Daryl we came to B.F.brown and of couse we had to say hi and be his friend. He was a awsome kid and a good, true friend. He didn't talk that much in the eigh grade because when we had class together he would fall a sleep. That was them good old day.
I still remember that day when my friend calle dme and told me what happened I did not believe it! we LOVE Daryl and all way will..

Daryl was a friend of mine when i was in 5th grade (now i am in 8th)we used to hang out at the park all the time. Every friday and saturday i went to the movies in fitchburg, or the mall in leominster, and i always see him. it will be so weird not seeing him anymore. im trying to deal with this, but as it is hard for everyone else it is hard for me too. i can just imagine how hard it is for his mother (kathy). if i were to be a mother and i were to lose my son i dont know what i would do. darryl was an extrordinary kid and i will miss him so much! to his family: i am very sorry for your loss. for his friends: good luck and i am very sorry. and for anyone else who new him, i am very sorry!!!!

Just a little note that we are thinking of you and praying for you every minute of every day. Daryl was a wonderful kid and loved by everyone in our family. I will always here his voice when I would call his cell phone looking for Brandon. He was always so cute. We will miss him terribly but keep him in our hearts forever.
