Dear Grandpa,
You're in a happier place now, free of pain and discomfort. You can finally rest now. You've lead a great life - truly worthy of a novel. You are an awesome Grandfather, true to the meaning - which is a treasure I feel very lucky to have enjoyed in my life.
I miss you, I love you, and until we meet again - may peace be with you at God's side.
Love, Met

Aunt Vernie and Girls; My thoughts of Uncle Gene will always be of a powerful fun-loving man who was always up for a wrestle with an annoying little nephew. All our love.

Momma,
I will never forget how you spent every waking hour, and most the night, caring for daddy. You never gave up trying to find a cure, as you took him from doctor to doctor. You even moved him, by your self, from MacArthur so he would be closer to better doctors, and his 3 girls. You cooked day & night just trying to find something daddy would & could eat. You bought him new clothes as he got smaller & new bedding to keep him comfortable, always the best for daddy. And at last you gave him to the Lord to take home, so he wouldn't be in pain anymore, even though your heart was breaking. God bless and keep you momma.
Love you always,
Jeanie & Mike
