She belonged to the Third Order Lay Carmelite of the Titus Brandsma Community of Nashua, N.H. Mrs. Zanni was a member of Saint Leo’s Church. Her husband, George S. Zanni, died in August 2002.
She leaves two sons, Neil Zanni and his wife, Sharon, of Leominster, and Matthew Zanni and his wife, Jean, of Merrimack, N.H.; one daughter, Ellen Prince and her husband, Brian, of Nottingham, N.H.; one sister, Eileen Dolen of Melrose; six grandchildren, Laura Smith, Lindsey Zanni, Hannah Zanni, Christopher Zanni, Emma Zanni, and Erin Zanni; and many nieces and nephews.
ZANNI -- On Aug. 20, Elaine T. (Thomas) Zanni, 72, of 6 Beth Ave., Leominster, died in Leominster Hospital. A funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 24, from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack, N.H. Calling hours are Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lay Carmelite Community, 8 Pendleton Lane, Bldg. 2, Londonderry, N.H. 03053.
