Eva Ouellette Obituary

Eva M. Ouellette of Fitchburg, active at St. Joseph's; 101 FITCHBURG Eva M. (Cormier) Ouellette, 101, formerly of 500 Beech Street, died, Sunday, February 8, 2009, at the Life Care Center of Leominster. She was the wife of William J. Ouellette who died in 1961. Mrs. Ouellette was born in Fitchburg, October 21, 1907, a daughter of Paul and Josephine (Landry) Cormier, and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident. She is survived by three nieces, Delrose Cormier and Pauline Holstrom, both of Leominster, and Carol LeBlanc of Fitchburg; and two nephews, Norman Cormier and Ernest Cormier, both of Fitchburg. She was the sister of the late Ovila Cormier of Southington, CT, and Ida Robichaud of Fitchburg. Mrs. Ouellette worked over 20 years as a winder tender at Fitchburg Yarn and Star Worsted before retiring in 1969. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg, and a member of its Ladies of Ste. Anne and Ladies of Fatima. She was also a member of the American Friendship Club, and Fitchburg Golden Age Club. OUELLETTE A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation period will be 8:30 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.
