Grace Dutil Obituary

Grace Itah Sparks DutilROCK HILL, S.C. - Mrs. Grace Itah Sparks Dutil, 91, of Rock Hill, died Monday, November 10, 2014, at Agape Hospice. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Born in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., Mrs. Dutil was a daughter of the late Percival Wilson Sparks and Grace Joseph Sparks. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Mrs. Dutil was a founding member of the D.A.R. in Tega Cay and enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading. Surviving are her son, Joseph Rene Dutil Jr. of Fort Mill; two daughters, Marie Abrams and her husband, Jack of Estero, Florida and Corinne Toomey and her husband, Vincent of Rock Hill, S.C.; two sisters, Corinne Lockhart of St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. and Ethel Lloyd and her husband, Jack of Apex, N.C.; five grandchildren, Christine Chefalas, Shannon Healy, Kelly Lewis and Jonathan Abrams; four great-grandchildren, Riley Chef-alas, Mia Lewis, Kylie Lewis and Addison Lewis and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rene Dutil Sr.; grandson, Michael Toomey and sisters, Emilie Gray and Cleone Petz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Building Fund, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715. Condolences may be made at www.wolfefuneralhome.com.

Oh Toomeys....
I cant imagine your week.
Grace was such a sweet lady...
I enjoyed her telling me about St. Thomas and how she enjoyed yhe family cruise when I would stop by to visit her at Palmetto Apts.
