Gregory Maxim Burdett -AKA MRNVR

Born February 18,1977 in Groton, CT, passed suddenly July 15, 2021 in Rhode Island while working on a movie production.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard and Evelyn Gomes. He leaves his mother, Mary-Anne (Gomes) Martell of Portland, ME; father, Michael J Burdett of Leominster; sister, Crystal Martell and her husband Dan Riley of Preston, CT; brother, Tate Martell of Portland, ME; grandparents, Elbert and Bertha Burdett of Leominster; uncle Jeffrey Gomes and wife Karen of Fayetteville, GA, uncle Russell Burdett and wife Kathy of Leominster; aunt Gale Burdett of Leominster; cousin, Katie Burdett of Leominster; and his companion Megan Walsh of Dorchester, MA.

Greg attended YMCA Camp Lowe as a camper, later becoming a counselor where his artistic and mentoring ways became apparent. He attended Saint Bernard's High School before eventually graduating from Leominster High School's postgraduate certificate program in Culinary Arts as well as attending Newbury College for culinary. He later attended Mass College of Art, graduating in 2005 in Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM). He founded project S/F while there. Eventually he attended Emerson College and obtained his Masters in Film and Media Art in 2020.

He was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Employees Local 481. Besides being a freelance artist, his brand became Never or MRNVR. He worked for the United Way in New York, NY, Artists for Humanity of Boston, Thomas Young Gallery in South Boston. Most recently he had worked on Dexter, Chopped, Mother Android, and Space Oddity.

Greg could be described as comical, serious, compassionate but, most of all a good human being. A scholarship program has been established in his name at Mass College of Art in Boston. A private service will be held for family followed by a celebration of life on September 25th from 11am to 5pm at the Leominster Eagles, 456 Litchfield St., Leominster, MA 01453.
