Jewelette Maxine Burdett was born to Albert Cosey Sr. and Lillie Hines,
Jewelette joined the Westside Church of God in Christ. She later relocated to Zion Temple where she served on the Mother's Board. Later she joined Christian Liberty and remained a faithful member on the Mother's Board until her illness.
She peacefully passed away in the Woods in Monticello, Arkansas.
Jewelette was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Cosey Sr. and Lillie Hines; her husband, Arlee Burdett; her sister, Ernestine Steele, and her daughter, Lachonne O. Bell.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, one sister Betty (Rufus) Dunbar of Lake Village, AR; one brother, Albert Cosey Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; four sons, Keith C. Halley Sr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jaylee (Michelle) Halley Jr. of Crossett, AR, Dessie (Lisa) Halley Sr. of Lake Village, AR; and Keith C. Halley Jr. of Texas; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
A Wake will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Central Baptist Church with Reverend Haney and Elder Brandon Bolden officiating. Interment will be at New Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home.
