Lorraine A. (Landry) Forget, 83, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah (LeBlanc) Landry and was a lifelong resident of the City and longtime member of St. Joseph's Parish.

Lorraine graduated with the Class of 1957 from St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg. Many years ago she worked at the former H. Margolins Company in Fitchburg and more recently, prior to her retirement, she worked at Kmart in Leominster.

She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. We will miss her kindness and cherish the memories she leaves us. Lorraine enjoyed reading, walking, bowling, watching the Red Sox and most importantly spending time with her family. In her younger days, she and Leo also enjoyed trips to the beach, going dancing, and ice skating at St. Joe's school yard.

She leaves her husband of 62 years, Leo Forget of Fitchburg; three daughters, Donna Evancic and her husband Geoffrey and Renee Letourneau and her husband Kenneth all of Ashburnham and Lisa Forget and her partner Timothy Mulcahy of Westminster; a brother, Paul Landry and his wife Sandi of Leominster; five grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Kathryn, Tracy, and Rachel, three great grandchildren, Alex, Bentley, and Aria; sister-in-laws, Della, Esther, Sheila, Irene and her husband Paul, and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Alfred Landry, Roger Landry and Leo Landry.

Lorraine's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11AM in the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11AM.
