Michael Therrien Obituary
SHAPLEIGH, Maine -- Michael L. Therrien, 56, of Shapleigh, Maine and Townsend, MA, suddenly on Jan. 31.
He will be tearfully missed by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Lisa Hatfield of Manchester, Maine; son, William of Townsend, and brother, Robert of Townsend and Hull.
He was the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Ryll) Therrien, grew up in Townsend, attended North Middlesex High School, University of Bridgeport, Fitchburg State College & Mount Wachusett Community College.
He owned his own auto repair business in Winchendon and later taught auto technologies at Minute Man Tech in Lexington, MA, Franklin Institute and the Sanford Regional Vocational Center. Michael was a devoted teacher, enjoyed teaching and an advocate for his students.
He will be remembered as loving husband, father, and brother, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

My son Evan Hodgdon was a student of Michael's at SRVTC. Mr. T was a genuinely nice man who cared about his students. My son and I are saddened by your loss. Evan is now a student at Eastern Me Community college in the diesel technology program. Evan was the first student to enter the competition for the vocational students as a diesel entry up in Bangor 3 years ago when Mr. T was there.
