LANCASTER Pauline (Worthington) Hollingsworth, 58, of Lancaster, died Friday, November 21, 2008, in Clinton Hospital, after being stricken ill.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David H. Hollingsworth; three daughters: Ericka Tina Christman and her husband, Fearl, of Circleville, OH, Laura Ann Hollingsworth and her partner, David, of Mt. Holly, NJ, and Sandra Marie Hollingsworth of Columbus, OH; three brothers: Crawford L. Worthington and his wife, Connie, of Ashville, OH, Clyde E. Worthington and his wife, Cindy, and Charles L. Worthington and his wife, Becky, all of Circleville, OH; a sister, Teresa L. Beachler and her husband, Joe, of Obetz, OH; six grandchildren: Pauline M. Hollingsworth, Kelsey T. Stevens, David J. Hollingsworth, Allison M. Hollingsworth, David B. Rogers, and Katara C. Henderson; several nieces and nephews.
Pauline was born in Circleville, OH, daughter of Clyde and Pansy Lee (Meade) Worthington. She was a 1968 graduate of Teays Valley High School, Ashville, OH.
Prior to settling in Lancaster 10 years ago, she
accompanied her husband, David, on several tours of duty with the US Air Force.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Pauline loved God and her family. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Lancaster.
An avid Red Sox fan, she enjoyed watching every game. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, knitting,
reading, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
HOLLINGSWORTH Pauline's funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, with a service at 9:00 a.m. in the Evangelical Congregational Church of Lancaster, 793 Main St. Burial will follow in North Village Cemetery. Calling hours at the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2008.
