Miss LeBlanc was born in Fitchburg, July 11, 1936, a daughter of Hilaire and Alma (Leblanc) LeBlanc and resided much of her life in Fitchburg.
She is survived by four brothers, Alfred J. LeBlanc of State College, Pa., Gerard J. LeBlanc and Norman J. LeBlanc both of Fitchburg, Robert J. LeBlanc of Leominster; three sisters, Theresa M. LeBlanc, Annette M. LeBlanc and Claire M. Boudreau all of Fitchburg. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Emile J. LeBlanc of Fitchburg.
Most recently, Miss LeBlanc worked as an LPN at the Sisters of the Presentation Infirmary in Leominster before her retirement in 1997. Prior to that she worked at the former Mt. Elam Nursing Home in Fitchburg and also for 17 years with the Sisters of Providence.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Fitchburg and enjoyed the Joseph House Social Club. She also enjoyed knitting and jigsaw puzzles.
LEBLANC -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Joseph’s Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.
