Regina J. (Lomme) Bourgault, 91, a longtime Fitchburg resident, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Leominster Crossing, Leominster.

Mrs. Bourgault was born in Fitchburg, October 11, 1930, a daughter of Victor and Lena (Valliere) Lomme and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School, class of 1949. She continued her education at Stevens Business School in Fitchburg.

Although Regina's primary interest was her home and family, she did work at several times in her career at various positions including the John Hancock Insurance Company, R & R Jewelry & Gift Stores, Fitchburg Savings Bank and the Women's Department at Shack's Clothing Store in Fitchburg.

Mrs. Bourgault was a member of St. Joseph's Church and had been active its annual bazaar and had served as a board member of the St. Joseph's School Association.

Her husband of 46 years, Norman J. Bourgault predeceased her in 1998.

She leaves her son, Stephen J. Bourgault of Fitchburg; her sister in law, Maryanne Lomme of Leominster and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Victor Lomme Jr. and Robert Lomme both of Leominster and Alyse Furbush of Fitchburg.

A celebration of Regina's life will be held at a day and time to be announced,
