Richard Bergevin Obituary
Mr. Bergevin was born in Gardner January 6, 1935, a son of Robert O. and Mary E. (Surette) Smith and formerly resided in Townsend and Lake Shirley in Lunenburg before moving to Florida.
Mr. Bergevin was formerly employed at the Raytheon Corporation as an electrical engineer.
Mr. Bergevin was an avid NASCAR race fan and was also a part time Disc Jockey.
Mr. Bergevin is survived by one son, Kevin B. Bergevin of Fitchburg, two daughters; Tracy L. Lothrop of Bow, N.H. and Lisa A. Bergevin of Townsend and four grandchildren; Brandon Lothrop, Heather Lothrop, Hallie Lothrop and Ashley Bergevin.
Mr. Bergevin was the father of the late Brian Bergevin who died in 1996.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday, Nov. 25, at the T. J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, (Route 119), Townsend, MA. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Dick was our neighbor here in Lunenburg on Lake Shirley for many years. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, always had a smile to greet you.

Our deepest sympathies to Dick's extended family. Dick & I worked together at Raytheon for 30 years and he was my boss for a while. We lived at Lake Shirley also, and enjoyed his hospitality & friendship. I just sent him 2 emails today, not knowing that he had passed. God bless.
