SPRINGFIELD -- Robert Esposito, 74, of Springfield, formerly of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, June 8, at Baystate Medical Center.
Born in Fitchburg, he resided in Springfield for the past 45 years.
Mr. Esposito was a painter at many companies throughout the Springfield area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Esposito also belonged to AMVETS in Lunenburg and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Judith E. (Atwood) Esposito of Springfield; his five children, Robin Vivenzio of Chicopee, Terri, Robin and David Keeley all of Springfield, and Paula Siren of Hampden; five brothers Daniel Esposito, Phillip Esposito, and John Esposito, all of Lunenburg, Thomas Esposito of Ashburnham, and Michele Esposito of Colorado; two sisters, Dorothy Rice and Beatrice Chalmers, both of Florida; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
ESPOSITO -- On June 8, Robert Esposito, 74, of Springfield. A graveside service will be held for Robert today at 2 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service today from noon to 1:15 p.m. in Byron Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St., Springfield.
